[insert laughs here first] In October I got to be an extra in a zombie movie that a few friends of mine were involved in. Mike has been one of the set photographers and I was lucky to have a few shots taken---(though I am not thrilled with the one of me that got posted). Either way I had a fun day an awesome experience. Geoff (a producer) asked me to fill in as wardrobe, so I ended up being a hippy rather than a zombie (because of the make-up time etc.). The film is a comedy and the scene I was in involved a protest for Zombie Rights that basically goes all wrong! Hahah.
The cool part was helping Melissa (head wardrobe) dress people and knowing they would be seen on film! I really love having supporting roles over premiere ones. Weird? Mais non! Another cool thing was that there were a bunch of segments filmed here on Staten Island!! We had a really beautiful day in Silver Lake Park. The clean air of Fall had just started to get that Winter chill, and the afternoon sun bred long shadows like stretching kittens over the hill. I had a renewed appreciation of my home, another cool experience to add to the list of crazy stories I get to tell my grandchildren, and a sense of being a part of something great! I CAN'T WAIT for it to come out!! Will you go see it??? Come on!! Who doesn't love zombies, especially zombies in outrageous pseudo-satire?This guy was my favorite!

Can't thank you enough Jenn. The picture is coming along hysterically. Keep your eyes peeled for this movie to finish early 2009.
