maybe because i have no music abilities whatsoever, i secretly steal beauty from music and store it in my soul. i create mental soundtracks for my day. for moments. for scenes in my life. many of us have life soundtracks, whether it is that we discover that perfect song to explain a moment, or a song is marked by that time and implanted in your experience of life.
then there are times you just drift into music and it pierces your soul. sometimes i believe THAT is ecstasy.
