KARMIC GOODIES: Totally Random FUN Edition

I have so much to share!! I am brimming with inspiration...just sadly short on time! BUT, until I can get my next cool finds and holiday ideas posts together, here is some randomness:

#1: This hilarious image link on the MSN homepage!!

#2: The bizarro ask.com commercial that asks: "where can i get a bucket of fried chicken right now"? (spoken by a man with an Indian accent nonetheless!)

Angelo turned me on to the Ninja recently and I get all giddy watching him and his post-modern rants! Brilliant!! AND, who doesn't either love or fear ninjas? So, speaking of books....

HERES A GAME TO PLAY:
This was first posted by my friend Laura on facebook (its origin, I don't know), but I hope you play along:

The "Book Nearest You" Game
Rules:

* Grab the book nearest you. Right now. Use the closest, regardless of what it is.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence and post it the comments section
* Then you can post that sentence along with these instructions on your blog as well!! SO, I guess I just tagged everyone!!

Here is my sentence:
"There was no more fence left, and somebody had just stolen our broken bench."

ASIDE: Today I am thankful for laughter, my mother recovering and our Tuesdays together, eating out with her and Tony at BAYOU !! (yum, Fat Tuesday rocks!-- oh, and ate at another favorite yesterday: mmmmm Marie's breakfast pizza and homemade zeppoli's!!) and all of the goodies I found...oh yeah, and my students telling me I looked like a cute ladybug today! Ha!! XO

KB - I've been tagged by one of those damnable "meme" things, and I'm supposed to tag seven other random blogs, lest the delicate fabric of the time-space continuum be disturbed.

So, you've been tagged. It wasn't completely random - your blog came up either because of "Fight Club" or the Decemberists showing up in your profile.

If you decide to cooperative with this bloggish nonsense, then check the rules on my blog. If not, I completely understand. Really.

    Have a great week.

hey. i hope you didn't get freaked out when you saw that you were linked on my page. i randomly stumbled accross your blog a few months ago and have enjoyed reading ever since. the crafts and music and events and art insights are great! uhm. yeah. i know that i can make the blog private, but that's not my style. if le blog situation doesn't make you feel wierd, than it doesn't make me feel weird either. besides.. it's not like i am your student anymore and pretty soon, i won't even be wagner material.

Eep. In addition.. I'm not sure how much/how in depth you've read my blog.. but I am not a tattletale or anything and I hope that anything you have read/will read on my blog will stay on the computer. My BF (who goes to Hunter) is the only one besides you that knows I even have a blog.. so don't worry about anyone in Wagner knowing that you have one. Mmm. That's all I have to say, I think. Responder??
